Vacation Style Holiday Type
Day 1: Casablanca to Fez.
Your adventure will start with your arrival at the airport. Our assigned driver will pick you up to take you on a tour in the industrial city of Casablanca, where we will be visiting some of the most important landmarks in the city such as the Hassan II mosque: this beautiful architectural building made for the interest of praying, overlooking the Atlantic ocean. We will also take some time to go and explore the old medina of Casablanca where you can admire the small alleys and the kindness of local shop owners, we will have our lunch break in a local restaurant featuring most delicious Moroccan food.
Later on that day we will take the road toward Fez city, where our driver will take you to your own accommodation where you can rest and be ready for the next chapter of this adventure.
Day 2: Explore Fez.
After getting your hours of beauty sleep, we are going to head outside and get in the heart of Fez and learn about the cultures and the extremely old monuments like the 9th century Karouine Mosque which is pretty fascinating not only by how old it is or how beautiful it is on the inside but also with the amount of history it holds since it is the very first university worldwide. We would also see other monuments like the Madrassa Bounania, the famous tanneries, the tombs of this city founder “Moulay Idriss II”, and many more shops that make a lot of handmade traditional products and let’s not forget the museums that contain the history and the old stories of this city.
Day 3: Fez – Merzouga.
On our 3rd day, we will leave Fez city and head to the Saharian city of Merzouga. We will have our first stop of the day in Ifrane, this beautiful charming ice city will be your best opportunity to enjoy some calmness and freshness of the air, it’s a great opportunity to relax and take a lot of pictures with the beautiful nature. Up next, we will drive a little further to reach the Cedar forest of Azrou, we will get to have a nice cup of tea while enjoying the wilderness of the views ahead of us and the silly playful monkeys. We will then continue to Midelt where we will have a very tasty lunch break then follow the Ziz Gorge valley. Take a moment to enjoy the view of the river. Lastly, we will arrive to Merzouga at the end of the day where we are going to spend the night in a hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga desert.
Merzouga desert is a new realm of wonders, get ready for the best experience in this trip: Camel trekking, for about 45 min long in the desert enjoying the landscapes and the shape-shifting dunes of Sahara before heading toward our camp in Erg Chebbi where we will spend a beautiful night enjoying our four-course dinner and the tea by the campfire and under the astronomical night sky.
Day 5: Merzouga – Dades Gorge.
Our day will starts early with a ride on the camels to the sunrise reaching Merzouga for a short period of refreshing and then taking on the second part of our desert trips to Dades Valley where we are going to spend the night passing by many small Berber villages like Tinghir and the Todra Gorges.
Day 6: Dades Gorge- Marrakesh.
Our 6th day of this trip starts with a drive from Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate to enjoy the architecture of these two cities that hold a lot of history within each of its walls. And our trip doesn’t end just yet, we are going to visit the Roses Valley and Sakoura village for all of you natural-organic product seekers would not want to get out of that place. Our lunch will take place at a local restaurant at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (a very important world heritage according to UNESCO) and then our trip continues through Tizi nTichka and through the High Atlas Mountains ending in your hotel/riad in Marrakech later in the afternoon.
Day 7: Explore Marrakech.
For this day we are going to explore Marrakech city with a local guide. We will visit the main sites of Marrakech including the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Bahia Palace, Majorelle gardens and admire the beauty of nature mixed with architecture. Then, the old Medina of Marrakech, Coranique School, Berber arts, Artisans, Museum, colorful Souks with every kind of spice you have in mind, The day will finish with a sunset drink overlooking the Jamaa El Fna square, a view that is so soothing and relaxing.
Day 8: Marrakech-Casablanca.
And this is where we part. Our driver is going to pick you up and take you to the airport.
