Day 1: Welcome to Morocco.
Welcome to Morocco! Our driver will pick you up from the airport to lead you through this one in a lifetime experience. Buckle up because it’s about to get intense!
Day 2: Explore Casablanca and Rabat.
Start this day with a tasty Moroccan breakfast featuring the spiking organic mint tea. Now that you are full of fuel to start our first day of discovering Casablanca. We will visit Hassan II Mosque this beautifully detailed landmark overlooking the Atlantic ocean where people pray on a floor made out of clear glass that gives a view of praying over the ocean. Then we will be taking the road to the capital of Morocco: Rabat, we will be visiting the beautiful Hassan II tower that would make your jaw drop with the intricate designs of the tower, and on right on the opposite side of the tower lies the tomb of the king Mohammed V and his two sons, you will be entranced with the bright gold-leaf ceilings and the captivating carvings inside the plain white building. And of course visiting the famous Kasbah des Oudaias, a beautiful calm and peaceful place with incredible views of the ocean.
Day 3: Chefchaouen.
We highly recommend waking up early and watch the sun as it cracks its way in the night sky making a beautiful sight of dawn over the beautiful alley of buildings surrounded by the magnificent mountains of Rif.
Right after you have your breakfast handmade from scratch with the flavorful mint tea, our assigned tour guide will take you on a fun ride of discovering the secrets of this small city. Our first destination will be to the old medina where you will dive deeper into the culture of this rich city, you can find all sorts of souvenirs handmade with wood and the beautiful traditional clothing of the Rif region. Next, we will visit the Kasbah museum that lies in the heart of this beautiful Andalusian garden. Explore the unrivaled collection of artifacts that tell the story of the Chefchaouen region and enjoy the peaceful vibe of this place. Later in the afternoon, we will head back to the old medina to enjoying some local folklore while sipping on the delicious mint tea and enjoying some local traditional treats. You will head back to your accommodation at the end of the day to rest and get ready for our last day on this journey.
Day 4: Road to Fez.
On our fourth day, we will be heading to Fez via Mekness the imperial city which is our next stop in this tour.
In Meknes we will visit a lot of landmarks to admire the detailed architecture and the history behind each one of them such as Bab Mansour, Borj Belkari, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail … and the beautiful gates with detailed colors and designs and of course visit the main square in Mekness: place Hedim. We will have lunch there and then head to Fez to relax and get ready to explore this rich city on the next day.
Day 5: Explore Fez.
After getting your hours of beauty sleep, we are going to head outside and get in the heart of Fez and learn about the cultures and the extremely old monuments like the 9th century Karouine Mosque which is pretty fascinating not only by how old it is or how beautiful it is on the inside but also with the amount of history it holds since it is the very first university worldwide. We would also see other monuments like the Madrassa Bounania, the famous tanneries, the tombs of this city founder “Moulay Idriss II”, and many more shops that makes a lot of handmade traditional products and let’s not forget the museums that contains the history and the old stories of this city.
Day 6: Fez to Merzouga.
Our trip will begin early in the morning taking a departure from your accommodation in Fez, we will be hitting the roads to reach Ifrane the charming clean ice city, and this winter resort is one of the best places to go when you need a relaxing time near the fresh natural rivers or the clean white ice. Right from there, we will reach the Cedar forests in Azrou where you can enjoy the fresh air and the view of Atlas Mountains while playing around with the local monkeys.
As we come to an end to the greenside of this trip, we will reach the Sahara part starting by Midelt where we are going to take our lunch break of the day, and enjoy the hospitality of the locals and if you feel a little curious, you can get the experience of visiting a Berber household and enjoy the fresh cup of tea while learning more about their cultures.
At 5 pm, we will be reaching our final destination of the day in Merzouga where the camels will be waiting for you to sweep you into the wonders of the Sahara desert across the Erg-Chebbi dunes. After one hour of trekking, you will reach your desert camp made with tents designed with Moroccan hands where you will be served a warm cup of mint tea and after you settle in fully, a fine dinner will be waiting for you under the starry sky of Sahara.
Day 7: Explore Merzouga.
This day will be all about discovering the wonders of the city of Merzouga. We will have first our breakfast and head out in the city to discover the magnificent views of Sahara. You can try the famous hot sand baths locals often use to relieve pain.
Day 8: 4*4 excursion – Camel trekking and Night Desert Tent.
On our second day in the Sahara we will rise early to watch he sunrise on the back of camels and over the rose gold dunes, we will head back to the camp to freshen up and have a delicious breakfast. We will then start the 4*4 excursion in the Saharian desert to discover the magnificent intimidating oasis of the Sahara. later in the afternoon, we will visit a Berber village to spend the afternoon and have a very delicious meal cooked from scratch by the lady of the house we will visit.
later in the evening, we will trek back to our camp to spend the night and enjoy the tunes of the Berber drums.
Day 9-10: Merzouga to Marrakech.
This day’s trip starts with a drive from Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate to enjoy the architecture of these two cities that hold a lot of history within each of its walls. And our trip doesn’t end just yet, we are going to visit the Roses Valley and Sakoura village for all of you natural-organic product seekers would not want to get out of that place. Our lunch will take place at a local restaurant at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (a very important world heritage according to UNESCO) and then our trip continues through Tizi nTichka and the High Atlas Mountains ending in your hotel/riad in Marrakech later in the afternoon.
Day 11: Explore Marrakech.
For this day we are going to explore Marrakech city with a local guide. We will visit the main sites of Marrakech including the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Bahia Palace, Majorelle gardens and admire the beauty of nature mixed with architecture. Then, the old Medina of Marrakech, Coranique School, Berber arts, Artisans, Museum, colorful Souks with every kind of spice you have in mind, The day will finish with a sunset drink overlooking the Jamaa El Fna square, a view that is so soothing and relaxing.
Day 12: Explore Essaouira.
Today we will be leaving Marrakech to head toward the Atlantic City: “Essaouira” since it’s a city overlooking the Atlantic Ocean promising a breathtaking view especially at golden hours. Next, we will witness and maybe participate in the process of making the Moroccan most famous natural oil -Argan oil- in a local cooperative. After that, we will dive deep into the old city of Essaouira and explore its castles and enjoy the view of the ocean.
Day 13: Essaouira back to Casabalanca.
After this extremely rich adventure exploring this beautiful city and its views, we will pack our bags and head back to Casablanca via Safi, Oualidia and other small cities on the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy the flavors of fresh seafood dishes before arriving in Casablanca which is our last destination in this trip.
Day 14: Casablanca– Airport
And this is where we part. Our driver is going to pick you up and take you to the airport.
